Children under 12 months old

The main source of nutrition for babies under 12 months of age is breast milk (or formula if breast milk is not available). Mothers should breastfeed their babies whenever they want.

Children over 2 years old can have meals with the whole family. At this time, the baby should be eating full of nutrients, with extra snacks and fruits. Another note is that when cooking for your baby, you should use iodized salt or iodized fish sauce and don’t cook too salty. Cultivating the habit of eating salty foods from an early age will adversely affect the baby’s health later in life.

It is recommended to use iodized salt or iodized fish sauce for babies.
